It's an expensive enough product that the capital outlay acts as a barrier to entry while the total cash return is still too small for the larger outfits.

Then once you know that doing solid due diligence work on selecting an affordable yet financially secure and highly responsive outfit to provide the coverage. 

Ours cost right at $60k, which included all construction, some storage costs, moving/crane work, landscaping, exterior utility work and outfitting it for STR. 

Some of the bigger brand name outfits probably aren't the best choice. 

An outfit in my area has built these fantastic ownership storage facilities.

A junker with no equity and hidden title problems, or  a scam from a pump and dump rent to own outfit wanting to saddle you with massive debt service.

I think I have a pretty good grasp of the basics involved and we are looking to use a 3rd party loan servicing outfit to keep things simple for ourselves.Any general suggestions/advice as to what to be on the lookout for?
