Listen... keep your eyes and your ears open to find out who the "players" are.. who are the ones that are "doing" the biz not just talking about it.You'll learn much by doing so and you will have no problem striking up a conversation with those that are working the business.

Some states have ruled they are against public policy and strike them down but many uphold reasonable penalties if they can show a reasonable basis for doing so.

You need to close about 20 or 25 deals so that you really understand the RE business before striking off losing a job you've had that long.

His book, It's Called Work For A Reason, should be required reading for anyone entering or currently in the workforce and especially anyone wanting to strike out on their own.Do what you know is the right thing to do.
