I've found this to be super helpful: When someone inquires about the property Thank them and Send them the pre-requirements (Income, credit, no evictions) and ask if they meet them.

All of those people also get credit/background checks.

It'll be the lowest hanging fruit first--the already incarcerated-- due to funds.

What documents do they require, what credit scores do they allow, how do they verify previous rental history, etc.?

CA taxes residents on worldwide income but may provide a credit for taxes paid to other states.
