It may not get the number of wind/hail storms like TX does, but when the storms do hit in MN, they're usually very large systems, and produce awful hail damage.

Thank you  Using a LOC on your primary residence can work well for flips if the terms are favorable and you’re confident in managing projects efficiently.

The bank, on the other hand, welcomes this as well, because it's cost efficient than having a branch.

The key question,  especially as a finance guy, to ask "Can I deploy that same $15k more efficiently to and get a better result?" 

Just like you can't hit homeruns on every deal, sometimes your better off taking some lesser deals in there too just to grow. 

If property is done right even in todays market you can hit 1% rule and attract very desirable college students.
