Putting together the frame first and then building the house around trips my tripper.We have gone through a lot of different seasons, now we enjoy the simple straight lines of a contemporary structure, simple structures, flatter roofs with large overhangs, tons of windows for all the natural light.When we do a flip we will always try to honer the period.

One cheaper/quicker option to update the kitchen instead of paint might be to use a gel stain on the cabinets to give them a darker, more contemporary look.

Most subdivisions in Metro Atlanta are conforming ones only to their respective subdivisions, which means you'll find a subdivision of contemporary homes built in the '70's selling in the mid 200's sitting right next to a subdivision of traditional homes in the $600's sitting right next to a distressed subdivision in the low $100's suffering from a 6-month 50% foreclosure rate, all with totally different rent rates.

I asked my hair dresser if he has to run and borrow short term money to conduct business and he said "no, and I'd be closing the doors if I were" .A landlord sure can't run out and borrow short term to pay his mortgages and expenses or he'd be in trouble too.Congress is so out of touch now that Greenspan and Bernake aren't worthy of their worship.
