Look at the Tea Party -- whether you agree with their principles or not, you should be thrilled that a group of people had the ability (and the freedom) to come together to define a set of ideologies and promote those ideologies on a national platform.One day, the Tea Party, the Green Party, the Libertarians, the Constitutionalists or some other group of like-minded folks will grow enough of a following to rival and perhaps take control from the two major parties in this country.We should embrace and encourage that, not try to quash it by saying things like, "You're throwing your vote away."

I did attempt outsourcing the filling of the vacancy and to say I was disappointed would be a huge understatement.To sum up my thoughts, I think the areas that aren't great but aren't scary (war zone) are a good place to start and build some experience/cash and then explore elsewhere if it isn't your cup of tea.

There are plenty of people (even here on BP) who only invest debt-free -- they do it by saving their money for money years, buying a piece of property and then repeating.Not my cup of tea, but certainly nothing wrong with it if it meets their goals...
