Has anyone heard of or know of Sunrise Capital and there syndicate investing in mobile home parks?

And I have a 7 figure portfolio invested in both direct real estate (via residential rentals) and syndication/crowdfunding passive investments (because I feel both have their strengths and weaknesses and I want both in my portfolio).To backup a second: You can find virtually every type of real-estate investment strategy ( core, core plus, value-added , opportunistic) and asset type ( multifamily , self storage, office, mobile home parks etc.) via syndication/crowdfunding.

During my journey to obtaining my degree in real estate financing, I have found that single family homes cause a great financial burned if the tenant decides not to pay their rent.

You are better off making a small investment on your own, maybe a two-family, and use it as a proof of concept.If you don't know anything, trying to source deals off-market will just be taking money and burning it on postcards without the correct systems behind and the incentive for people to call.

Real estate investing is tough, and if you’re following those flashy Instagram gurus, it’s easy to get burned.

We invest in top-flight self-storage and mobile home park syndicators and we do months of research before sending them a dollar. 

But there is no perpetuum mobile and this will not continue infinitely, just as housing boom of early 2000's didn't last forever.

It’s just after being burned several times you find it harder to take that risk.In this case, it seems that this guy only asked to be added to the lease after the landlord served a notice because they were caught.  

Not too many people want to live at Burning man year round.
