What are your biggest pain points?

The down sides to an all concrete house is temperature retention good or bad. 

I figure the upside to the rental scenario is, of course, investing in multiple properties, while a downside would be having to most likely get a conventional loan on the second house with 20+% down and proof of sufficient enough financial reserves to handle two mortgages. 

That was my biggest mistake.

One of our biggest clients plans on building more up there and meeting another GC or two would certainly make sense.

I think that the biggest take-away for me in the project is to avoid crawl spaces - I am claustrophobic and hate to enter crawl spaces anymore. 

I suspect this is the biggest of a slightly long list of issues with this investment.- is this your first section 8?  

I agree with @John Underwood that insurance is the biggest hurdle.

The good news is that most of the businesses are moving to Texas which is the biggest hurt that they can put on the state.
