I’d recommend starting by connecting with local investor groups and networking with other professionals in the area.Also, seek out teams that are actively investing and managing properties on the ground.

As a Florida Real Estate Attorney and Investor, I have seen investors do their best networking with local groups.

As the years have progressed, I've seen a healthy combo of appreciation & cashflow has continued to increase as market rents have gone up.To start off, I'd attend some local meet ups and network a bit, and start analyzing some deals.
