If both buildings are on the same deed, they can be insured on the same policy.It is common for most standard carriers to not insure more than 4 rental properties or more than 8 units total.

However I just got in tonight from 10 days in Hawaii.. and Scoot ( Singapore airlines budget carrier) was advertising business class from PHNL to Osaka for 495. bucks and 99. one way coach.. that is a smoking deal.. my buddy and I almost wanted to fly there for dinner LOL..

(incidentally, I had already switched carriers for higher liability limits before claim so current carrier is not the one who paid out).- claim #2: also submitted earlier this year for vandalism in NC rental property and just received much smaller payout.
