Couple other benefits of using them for me was that I'm no longer required to insure the house at what it would cost to rebuild in order to get replacement value coverage.So lets say I only owe 100k on the house but I want replacement coverage on it.

In the end, I think the bathroom was under $2K completely redone and total time it took was only a few days (vs a week plus with full demo and rebuild of a new bathroom).

Major issues we dealt with on one home were the two sides of the modular did not match up on the roof flip and caused us to basically have to rebuild the roof on site, we were compensated but the process was long and painful.

When I asked my insurance company about the high rebuild costs they said that the high rebuild estimate was based on the fact that these were older homes in established neighborhoods and if there was a catastrophe and the homes needed to be rebuilt they would be considered "custom" rebuilds which of course means higher premiums.

I think we are much better at going to a country and defeating its government than in controlling the country afterwards or rebuilding it into some kind of civilized place.
