So yes, it is true that there is a period of years where the college grad is trying to "catch up" to the non-grad since the non-grad presumably started making money at age 18 but over a lifetime, the studies show college to be worth several hundred thousand dollars in real dollars.

It didn't cost me anything....I actually got nearly $600 back after it was all said and done.The potential problem with your aunt moving into the rental and renting out her own home is that the cost basis in Property A becomes the lower of the fair market value at the time she does the conversion or the price she paid for it, thus her capital gain could be huge when she goes to sell that property depending on how long she has had that property.I presume she cannot rent out property B for more than the payment?

I follow obvious inclusions like an auto loan, student loans etc, but what I'm not clear on is whether you'd include the full balance of one's personal credit card that is consistently paid off every month with no interest incurred.If the monthly balance is included regardless, one could presumably optimize this by switching to paying items on a visa debit card or the like (since this would effectively cut the monthly credit card bill down to $0).

The consumer protections for residential leases do not extend to commercial leases because the law presumes that the parties are of equal bargaining power and sophistication.
