How do you expect to sort out the management and other things which require a more local presence?

Now I just need to learn how to make my presence here useful..

I am sure you will get one or more of their reps commenting on this post, as they seem to have a growing presence here on BP.From what I have seen, they are wholesalers who mainly deal with newer investors.

It's both funny and weird and not right, but after 6 months of living here as well it is simply my presence that is slowly breaking down barriers to what people think a landlord is, and maybe someday they will just call me Jeremy which is starting to happen.

Goals in 2019:- Read BP or listen to a podcast at least once a day- Close 1 deal - Grow network of people with similar goals/interests- Start building my brand/web presence- Understand how to get into commercial- Find someone willing to let me work with them (for free) in the industry

But I also like the idea of building a physical presence- and having something for the long term to potentially keep in the family as that grows.

It is growing, has a huge university and medical presence, property is still (relatively) inexpensive, and Tennessee is a very landlord-friendly state (some counties fall under the state tenant-ll act and some do not, Knox does). 

Why did you go through the motions to question his presence, and run a background, if you weren't prepared to follow through with the outcome?
