The main structural beam is being replaced so I am using a licensed contractor.  

So you can reinvest that money into other investments and you money grows at two places at the same time while you can deduct the interest of the loan as investment expense (if using a third party lender instead of the insurance company itself).Personally I am using Roth IRA, Roth 401 and cash value life insurances.

It's always amusing to me that many of the same folks on this forum that routinely trash property managers as completely unnecessary, are simultaneously pumping that they are worth 6 or 7 percent of the sales price for their own expertise.

I have no idea when rates will come down but it is amusing watching all the people who said they would buy when prices came down now continue to sit on the sidelines waiting for rates to go down (which will cause prices to rise again). 

I am using 0% credit card offers that give you a flat fee of 3 to 4 % and expire after several months. 

I find it amusing for those who note this is a red flag when a large portion of our cash society do not pay full share of taxes.
