I'm in southeast CT, so we're practically neighbors!

So basically anything inside the belt line in southeast Raleigh is dicey.

This area Isle of Palms) has some of the highest appreciation in the southeast, and all of the properties that I have sold here to other investors do VERY well- but, again, this is not an area where you can get a 'deal' in this market- you have to pay more, but you will rent very well and make money. 

haha. we're headed to Asia where houses are sub-zero cap rate and inflation of 5-6% is the new normal.

Both of us has a full time professional job and is currently based out of country ( in Asia ) .

I'm self-employed and just spent 9 months traveling n South Asia, which makes it harder to get loans, even though my credit score fluctuates between 787 and 812.
