If you handle this professionally, take emotions & the veteran bias (another veteran here...) out of the equation, and treat them like you would like to be treated in their shoes, you'll possibly gain a valuable referral to find another tenant.

Flying in Iraq and Afghanistan I've almost been knocked out of the sky by UASs more times than I'd like to recall, so I have a bit of a bias against them being in the same airspace as us air breathers, but they definitely have some great potential applications.
