I sent my first colleague request based on local area and, as others stated, to bounce information off of others that are passionate.

Also, that number fluctuates each week, bouncing around the 2's for over a year.  

I'm rather new to investing in real estate, so I'm looking to bounce some ideas off of people in my area in order for me to try new things and eventually get my first deal.Don't mind the quizzical nature of the questions.

This is best done formally in writing but sometimes it can be quicker and easier to bounce it verbally off the listing agent / seller first to see if you're anywhere close.

I'd be happy to bounce ideas around though!

How long would you stay there if the check bounced, or the company said we will give you a check when we make a suitable profit which could be never?

Worked great for awhile but they started bouncing.

I do take personal checks because I live in a town of 2000 people and we have a small branch of a local bank here so if I get a check with insufficient funds which is rare they let me know so everyone avoids all the bounced check fees and I can have the tenant fix the problem.

The following two years we bounced back and forth from doing a high end kitchen and or bath for someone and taking that money and putting it into the next rental.

They don't have to worry about a check getting lost and I rarely have to worry about bounced check.
