I got interested in REI in 2002 while I was still in the Army at Ft Bragg, NC.  

@Caleb Bradley I actually grew up here, and have lived here most of my life (aside from a stint in the Navy and Army).The North End is actually a good spot for this.I agree with you in regards to having passive income monthly.

Years ago I was a young soldier in the army renting places off base. 

When I worked in Detroit there were areas I saw that had a huge number of Indians that wear the big turban not sure which sect they are so don't want to make a boo boo.   

I just got out of the army and decided to pursue real estate in my home state. 

I'm wrapping up a flip at 24th street and Indian School to be listed later this week and am seeking my next property to start on. 

Hello everyone, I bought my first house as a lieutenant in the Army after living in an apartment for a year and realizing I was paying someone else rent when I could be paying myself.
