I don't need nor desire to be a real estate mogul, I only desire to be wealthy enough that my family is not in need of anything.  

If you are responsible with your money and have higher income, Dave Ramsey misses the boat on leverage when it comes to real estate investing, tax advantages, and overall financial strategies for people who dream big with $ goals etc. he's great if u want to live a simple life and be debt free but I don't believe you can be truly wealthy following his plan.

The margins are not as great as those that flip / wholesale, but its easily doable and it builds long term wealth.  I

Never heard of "furtive builders", but be very suspicious of someone who wants you to pay them a lot of money for them to present you with a system that's guaranteed to make you wealthy.

However, it's not a wealthy location.

Wealth is measured in time not dollars.  

My family MF I are looking for a place to live and build wealth, I hate the idea of achieving others goal by renting, but it is what it is.

My mother who has $150k equity in her fixed up house backed out.The only person left that I could at least semi trust is my incredibly wealthy uncle.
