If it's 50 year old cast iron it might be due for replacement (not THAT big a deal if the pipes are exposed to the basement).

I'm curious, though, if that would be corrosive to the various pipe materials (cast iron, clay, orangeburg)This could be more drastic but not as expensive, but can you simply cut the trees down near your line?

I'm analyzing my next rehab, but one big, unfamiliar issue I have comes in the form of 7 exploded cast iron radiators.

And it seems ironic to me that entities like Fannie Mae, which are as responsible as any for creating the systemic risks that the default wave poses to the larger economy, are often as not the ones pushing the “strategic default†moral narrative."

Allows the ladys to plug in hair dyers, irons etc and leave them in the draw instead of pulling them out and leaving them on the counter.

It will cost more, but it will iron out all the details.

I would be worried about that on any metal pipes especially cast iron or orangeberg.
