Hard money lenders have had a poor reputation, even the name sounds rather harsh, HARD....MONEY....LENDER, is the money hard or is the lender hard or is it hard borrowing ?

Sorry if this is harsh, but I am giving this advice as a person that learned the hard way.Once I took this seriously, I am now in a much better position as I am treating it like a business.

This was a great post to come into though @Shante Harris because it is a harsh truth and will come into play in anything we try to do to become successful.

My initial thought is no, because of the possible drama that it could lead to if things went south with the tenants.

Often an investor will hand it back/walk away after they get tired of being Landlords & all the drama that drives them out of that 'combative arena' of REI.

From the floor plan the 5th bedroom has no closet and doesn't show an egress window is it really a bedroom or are we calling it that to justify the hefty price tag-Sorry if this is harsh it's just what stands out to me. 

Cutting off family members and friends that are a drain or add uncertainty drama.

Maybe 'Clowns' was sort of a harsh term.

I'll be a little harsh here.

Collect the deposit and LMR (if allowed) and when one leaves you hold on to the money until the last tenant leaves.Personally I do not rent to unrelated applicants as it is generally a unstable situation fraught with drama.
