Lawyers and doctors are not infallible. we can make mistakes.  

In my opinion, unless you're going to be a doctor or some specialized field, college prepares you for a career.

Yeah I do have doctors where the spouse claims re professional status and then married filing jointly so not capped ( this is not legal or tax advice!

All of us work in fields that are highly litigious (lawyers, doctors, finance, etc.), so our minds can conceive of a ridiculous number of things that can go wrong, and the amount of time we spent on the operating agreement reflects that.

So, let a teacher teach, let the police officer police, let the doctor mend, and most importantly to this subject, let the Realtor handle real estate!

Their excuse is "the snow, the traffic,  truck won't start, girlfriend had a doctor's appointment" - which is crazy-making, of course.

The public, after all, will decide where to live, where to open and run businesses, and how much to pay for CA property.I happen to agree with Kelly's view that change in perceptions doesn't get "accelerated" until there is an "incident"...Just as the middle-aged man who, after surviving a life-threatening heart attack, finally begins heeding his doctor's advice to eat better and exercise more, Californians won't think twice about changing where they live unless (or until) an "incident" occurs which dramatically impacts their current way of life.

Not unless you want to be a doctor or lawyer.

Following this thread, we are a group of abt 10 doctors/dentists (all good friends) who want to jump into commercial RE with long term goals.

Being from Minnesota many are engineers or managers with 3m, another 1/3rd are IT guys, and the rest are business owners with a few doctors.
