A strong housing market is arguably good for Zillow and a weak market is bad.

Additionally if tenant is weak you could pay smaller partial payment to tenant broker upon tenant getting certificate of occupancy and paying rent on time and then tenant rep leasing broker gets smaller payments over time as the tenant stays and pays.

On another note, I have had the GC side of the experience where I have provided materials and performed work in the client's best interest and haven't received payment for an extended period of time, in one case not at all due to a weak contract. 

To me that usually means the idea itself is too weak to stand on its own merit.

I can see online when the deposits are made but didn't take into account when a deposit is made on the 5th which happens to be a weekend (for example) the post doesn't occur until the next business day.This weekend will be one of those weekends....I can only assume their chronic behavior will continue and they won't make the deposit until Sunday, Oct. 5th.....posting won't happen until Monday night, Oct. 6th.

Other possibilities are a just a bad (weak) batch of copper piping.
