They were slow rolling the dickens out of us and I wound up having to put 30% down with a conventional.

Within 2 months, I wound up having a buyer for a hedge fund call my sign.

But another agent in the same office was fine with that and actually wound up listing a flip that we bought from a wholeseller.

I looked at the Spring, TX area last year & made an offer but wound up not closing due to issues uncovered during the inspection. 

I found out the hard way and I am still licking my wounds. 

I have a few comments, don't take this as beating a "wounded" horse, you should just know some best practices in managing your finances and screening tenants. 1.

I've also had a couple tenants who tried to sign up and aren't getting the emails so they wound up paying me manually.On the plus side, it's very easy to setup and you can designate multiple bank accounts so if you have different properties, it's easy to indicate which property goes to which bank account.
