Overall, I worry the demand will weaken for the peripheral markets around Bend if the overall market softens.  

It raises the rate when it wants to cool the economy (lower the risk of high inflation rates), and lowers it when it wants to encourage lending to prop up a weakening economy.

It will definitely weaken the offer but most likely you wont be able to compete with the big guys on the super hot/quick/cash deals anyway.

Also, the inflationary effect of UBI would in the end negate the impact, especially for the middle class who would bear the brunt of the tax burden, further weakening economic equality and widening the economic gap.
