Hi, I'm looking for resources and/or connections related to 4+ BR Rental properties available for Housing Choice Voucher customers in the Prince William Virginia area.Back in the day in Connecticut, I was a HCV (formerly known as Section 8) Housing Coordinator. 

Timing on vouchers can be finicky.

Now I really value good active maintenance, so, I think it just makes sense to pay my tenants an active maintenance voucher of about $4,500.00 per month, per sleeping room, for quality upkeep being done. 

Is there anyone that is already doing section 8 / housing choice vouchers...how do target people with vouchers to apply?

I don't doubt thats what the data said but even if you went section 8, most vouchers I've seen have a 3 bed amount of $1400 and change. 

I also had good experiences with Section 8......Yes I know many people don't like the program.....but from my experience it can work out great.....there are far more vouchers out there then landlords willing to take them and it allowed me to cherry pick the best applicants and have a lot of stability and low turnover rates as a result of that.Don't hesitate to reach out if you'd like to go into a deeper conversation.

Does anyone have any experience with getting section 8 vouchers for a hotel.

Also, you can screen potential tenants by asking for their voucher number, at least that's the case in Chicago.

So far 80% of the people who have inquired are section 8 and ask if I accept vouchers.
