We added value by making a accent while in the living room, as well as refreshing all the furniture and decorations, painting the property, making a back door. back door out of the master bedroom because there was no way to get to the backyard without having to go through the side as well as some landscaping & new washer dryer.

If it is later in the project, and most of the money is spent, well that is where reserves come in (hopefully those aren't blown through).If you have more time than money, you go in and do work that you would prefer to have hired (i.e. cut new beds and put down mulch yourself versus paying the landscapers...).

I believe unless you see a use for it (having a landscaper keep mower in there, or other handyman stuff) do not spend the time and money; take it down.
