I own a rental property on the South Side in Chicago in Cook County.

Chicago IL, Cook CountyIn mid 2015, a property was quit claimed to me, it was recorded on 2/10/2017 according to the recorder of deeds websiteIn December of 2017, I paid a lawyer to quit claim the property to my brother, it was recorded on 1/10/2018, recorder of deeds website1/27/2018 I receive a tax bill in the mail addressed to me OR current owner.

Plus, if someone was cooking meth there then it wasn't setup as an overnight rental.

The properties I'm looking at are in Cook County, IL where the laws are heavily in favor of the tenant.

We pulled those out (all the previous tenants were indoor cigarette smokers so all drywall had to be removed from the entire property).

It's a learning curve I take a few years just like anything takes a little while to get to know how to cook takes a while to be a carpenter or a while to be a copywriter takes a little while to be an investor.....
