I say that because 1) it's true, and 2) unless you have a system, the information is NOT going to come at you structured, and so you're not lost, keep your bearings by realizing that is the roadmap simply stated.

Look to that as a roadmap for success.

Tax planning/strategy is developing a roadmap to save even more taxes down the road.

Your mentor's strategy is probably tempered with real life experiences that give him a roadmap for the future.

Your lease is the road map of your relationship with the Tenant. 

You could specify number of units acquired/yr, etc, & what strategies you'll use to get them - make a rough road map. 

That book will give you the perfect roadmap to design your future.
