Imagine doing all that hard work and having to rip it up only a year later.I recently put laminate flooring in 2 of my upstairs bedrooms.

We ripped off the "indoor jacuzzi room" and breakfast nook because they were horribly done additions that were already falling off the house.

I had one across the street from my own house and I was lucky enough to have awesome neighbors that didn't mind at all, however, I didn't mention to many people that I ran str's because I didn't want to hear all of the terrible things I was doing to rip this city apart.

The discussion with the town inspection department was that I would likely not have to tear it all out but they would have to maybe rip into walls to access plumbing and electrical if I actually wanted to get it inspected and properly permitted.

As @Tim Schroeder mentioned HVAC but also appliances can be a challenge - hence I when I buy a property if anything is within a few years of failing, it gets ripped out and replaced.
