Just wondering, if claiming a IRC 179 benefit is now fully permissible for rental properties (assuming they rise to the level of a trade or business) will claiming that particular benefit and claiming the IRC 199A benefit then raise my filing visibility?

If the Landlord gave the tenant permission to leave or break the lease early, then I would argue it's terminated and the 21-day clock begins ticking.

I would recommend getting an information release form signed by the applicant in the case that the previous landlord needs the applicant's permission.
