So in an unfinished basement you could have a level of "8" but it would "4" on the first level and "2" on the second levelI guess my big complaint is with the testing and mitigation companies.

You'll have no mortgage, but about $100/mo in insurance, about $100/mo in property taxes, and you should set aside a $100-200/mo repair allowance, because a house at that level is going to have stuff break - much more stuff, probably, than a $100,000 house.

Some of the cost will depend on finish quality leve (high end vs low end) l as well.

What you want to know is what the activity level is.
