It's healthier for the overall economy. 

I have been out of the BP community for quite some time and It was nice to see a subject post related to my industry.We were the first real estate brokerage to embrace and support short-term rental under the sharing economy in South Florida back in 2013 when Airbnb was getting hot and the business ecosystem surrounding Airbnb started to pop out.

The "glass treehouse" is in Eagles Nest, which is very much it's own eco-system and has a plethora of amenities not available to people outside of the neighborhood. 

But as a universal statement of Real Estate as a whole, no, asset classification matters and has it's own eco-system and cycles. 

I've got 3 properties and I use the Nest ecosystem from Google. 

Even as a guy I take my hygiene very serious and it matters, obvious something is working because I've been doing this for a month and I feel better, I'm healthier, My gym performance is better, I work better, and I have such an improved attitude as well.
