This is the golden question that your own due diligence will have to answer - not sure any investor is going to give away exactly where they are investing as this would cause more competition haha.3.Zillow doesn't bring me any units, my realtor also doesn't have knowledge on multi family units, what are my other resources you would recommend?

Pick an area that is within a 2 hour drive or a 3 hour nonstop plane flight.Get in that market and really learn it neighborhood by neighborhood block by block.Local market knowledge is every investor’s competitive advantage.I do MF deals in Greenville SC where I live and already own 400 doors.

They also have a good understanding of different lenders' appetites, and thus can save time by filtering out lenders that won't be competitive.

I'm not in that market but I would recommend finding off-market deals, targeting distressed properties, or focusing on smaller multifamily units in less competitive neighborhoods.

You could focus on entering smaller or less competitive markets where your capital goes further, such as investing in affordable multifamily properties or cash-flowing rentals out of state.

I plan to check them out although I don't think they can be competitive for lending against equity vs alternatives like IBKR.I will keep this thread posted as we navigate this in case others are interested.
