I’m currently selling an asset in another state and completing my first 1031 exchange.

Starting my 1st 1031 exchange and contacted a local company that had posted on BP several times.

Hoping To exchange some connection and also business together.

You can’t use 1031 exchange funds to pay off existing debt so a 1031 doesn’t really solve your problem.

Find them a deal and instead of paying you a fee, partner up with them and they will teach you their process in exchange. 

Using a strategy like a 1031 exchange can help defer this tax if you reinvest the proceeds into another property.

Down the road, the 1031 exchange and Section 121 combo is pretty unbelievable if you hire the right CPA. 

@Tyler Condon, it isn't proper but people do make side deals where the parties exchange money separate of the closing but at the closing table.
