Controllers use "flight strips" to track aircraft, back then they were thin paper strips that slid into a holder and the holder was laid on a rack that was tilted back so that if you took the bottom holder off the rack, (like that plane landed) the rest would slide down and you'd then work the next in line.

Is this a liability account or a contra account to the notes receivable?

I am an engineer, so imagine if aircraft maintenance run on "trust me, I know, I have been doing it for a long time".  

As Joshua Dorkin said I started investing while I was active Air Force (Munitions and Aircraft Maintenance Officer).

And because the Cirrus aircraft has been so successful it has a huge membership and a very active one.

I have been an aircraft mechaning for 20 years.  

Keeping track of 12 or 15 aircraft in your head can't be done by most.
