In regards to utility savers, I have heard of putting a plastic soda bottle (filled with water) to take up space in the tank and it would save a liter of water per flush.

Is a one-liter bottle of water worth $1,000.00?

I also do all of my own work but I have never attempted concrete counters - I'd love to get some pointers, especially how you incorporated your own beer bottle glass into the counters!
