You may find it difficult to sell, unless you rehab it for another investor that focuses on renting properties in war/border zones.

Two areas I like are the north end, near Sacred Heart Univ / Trumbull Mall and Black Rock, bordering Fairfield.

While I agree it might be from termite treatment, every termite treatment I have seen, the holes are not random as they appear here, but rather universally space around the outside border of the home, and not the interior of the home.

Across the border is Easton, PA where prices are still very low.

It certainly wasn't there a year ago, but the tenant cannot remember when they saw it first time.It has yellow borders, about 12 inches in diameter and is not soft or damp or moist (it was raining hard a few days ago).

Macomb County has some nice areas (I spent 23 years there) but it also borders Detroit at 8 mile.
