I signed a petition to get on the Nov. 2024 ballot to repeal that part so children can inherit property at the parent's low property tax basis and be able to rent the property out (and not have to live in  the property).I also have SFHs in Indiana and my leases there are much more straightforward, so far great tenants but my property taxes go up with no limit.
