Depending on the custodian, they may want to see the LLC amended to reflect the Roth IRA as the member.The lenders would likely want to re-do the loan paperwork as well.At the end of the day, whether the investment asset is stocks or real estate, the concepts and benefits of a Roth conversion are the same.

The cases i have seen is when this clause is not present yet an owner wants to terminate or amend the lease on sale/purchase of the property.  

In our case, it's handled exactly like the way we bought a new property, except this is half, and we get a new mortgages, pay the mortgage tax, the whole works.If it is a portfolio loan, the lender could possibly amend the mortgage after vetting the credit worthiness of the buyer, and take the father in law off.

If your tenant is on a lease, you have to wait until renewal to increase rent, unless you think they will sign an amendment increasing it now.
