You also might be putting the cart before the horse here because it sounds like you need a brokerage first to be affiliated with.

As you can see in this thread alone, all but one response is from someone affiliated with a consumer service provider for retirement accounts.

I've ran into national vendors who have local affiliates, or franchises perhaps, who offer maintenance and rehab work at various events, such as Tricor or Laudan Properties, but I haven't used them so I can't say how good they are.
