Lenders are reaching out to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to have the minimum increased, since this is an issue that will not go away as insurance companies raise premiums to stay profitable, and HOAs try to avoid paying higher premiums by increasing the deductibles (or sometimes they need to do both to afford a policy at all).

Ski Leases: Looking at the short term rental policies it does not cover leases longer than 30 days, seeing as there is a market for this type of rental what are peoples experience with this for ~4 month terms, and has it worked for summer leases as well.?

I just asked a title rep in the area and she says they wont handle a close even as a transaction coordinator unless they write a policy for it which they cant do on a manufactured home on a rented lot.

I even get insurance on dilapidated properties that I'm renovating.I get an actual-cash-value policy and they are only offering replacement cost.
