LPs are typically excluded from being actively involved in syndicated deals for a number of reasons.Additionally, the reputable Sponsors you are looking for aren't extremely likely to let you in at $10K. $25K, maybe.

If there is any real concern with the integrity of the house, have another inspection done by a qualified inspector...... if your report was a year ago, things change and the issue may be real or it may not.If there is no real issue, I would hold the PM company at least partially responsible for the cost of the inspection that was stimulated by their handyman overstepping his area.As for the PM getting the inspection report without prior authorization....big deal.....And if they asked, would you have said NO?
