Really, any content about mortgages from any source that's more than 2 years old should be disregarded -- occasionally someone will bump an old thread with an old post that I myself made, and it might have been right at the time, but as of 2018 it is wrong.

If you are the sole member of the LLC it will be treated as a disregarded entity by the IRS and treated like a sole proprietorship for tax purposes.
