The only time I see this remotely being an point of concern is if there were horrific injuries and the owner had grossly inadequate Insurance (which should never be the case).

In the event of a catastrophic event like fire or injury on the property, the insurance company will interview you.

The industries take on vacation rental insurance is: 'the risks associated with renting out a property for use as a vacation rental, such as property damage and liability for injuries to guests, are higher." 

Then there's the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury.  

Living with our moms is bad enough, we don't have to add insult to injury ;) It's no surprise he's such a loser.

Luckily no damage / injury but has anyone faced this situation before and does insurance cover these scenarios?
