I myself have paid for plenty of that, but for the sake of this post lets disregard them, just as we would disregard all of the slum landlords or fraudulent real estate investors out there.To start, it seems when anyone asks about a seminar or person promoting one, the default answer is "you can find everything you need to know by reading it here."

So as far as the percentage to compensate them - that really depends on who is doing what and for how long. 20% of a deal that will only get $10k of profit at the end isn’t very attractive - but that’s the gamble you take with equity.
