You would be giving blanket permission to anyone to come on in and case the place.

Everyone has a story, no need to blanket label people what you think they might be.

Sure, we want to protect OUR property, etc...but a blanket denial for criminal records CAN land you in court, or worse, having to try and defend the policy with HUD.

Issuing a blanket 9.75% "administrative fee" is far from that.  

They explained that they lay out a plastic shower curtain and a blanket on the (new hardwood floors) and then put a doggie circle pen on top of it and they just jump around inside.My response: sorry we don't accept rabbits. 

They won't think - gee it was so nice of the landlord to provide these things, even though there were problems created by other tenants...I'm not trying to be a wet blanket, it just comes naturally.
