Electronic Lifts- disconnect the battery if leaving for long term storage.K.

Everything is on electronic forms these days, so it's not like agents have to fax papers and/or run all over town getting signatures and counter offers and more.

I believe this is an exorbitant fee / ripoff for what amounts to probably 15 minutes of work sending some electronic documents. 

Even if unmodified, the shields/sleeves on the wires have deteriorated with age - or become part of someone's nest - leaving exposed wiring in walls, ceilings and attics ... we had an incident a few years ago where a tenant drove a nail to hang a mirror and shorted out three rooms {new acquisition at the time that has since been rewired}.Additionally, household electrical demands (a few light bulbs, a radio, and {perhaps} an electric icebox and/or range) were far less in the age of K-n-T and installations were not designed to accommodate today's electronic lifestyle.  

I keep an electronic copy that they can get to very easily (I use apartments.com and upload it there).

There were some payments sent electronically (ach'd) to the Seller.

The building has a brick exterior, street parking (typical for the area), and a basement where laundry is (coin or electronic pay).

Personally, a slightly cleaner way would be to make notes in your bank system (if it allows you), or make electronic notes on the pdf statements you can download. 

Just add GreenTree and your account number, and they should be able to send electronically each month, without having to fill out GreenTree's auto pay form. 

On your lease agreement, you can write in/select electronic deposit as the method of rent payment.
