Here are some that I'm aware of:- Galvanized pipes - typically 40-50 useful life, could rust from the inside out, could get eventual pipe failure- Zinsco or Fed Pacific electric panels w/ aluminum wiring that could be a major fire hazard- Wiring in general (e.g. knob and tube)- Asbestos in the walls- Lead paint- Heating system - boiler?

I should add this location is 20 miles from the redwoods area and national parks on the coast of CA (they are all over my golf course) 1/2 mile from the Eel River for fishing, and 7 miles from the Pacific Ocean.

My tenants don't want to loose the free government money so they have taken very good care of my houses.Make sure your lease covers silly things like the tenant being responsible for stove drip pans and any damage the cause.John
