Short term threats are 1) subprime auto-loans 2) Student debt, 3) foreign policy 4) risk of trade wars/closed border for trade, and long term threats include 5) growing U.S. debt 6) low productivity growth etc.. there are many more but these come to mind. 1) Subprime auto-loans were 16% of all car loans in the U.S. and the amount of subprime loans is increasing rapidly by 14%.

Two 17 years old and learning to drive, a 10 month old, a 38 and 36 year old.I lived in the desert near El Centro, CA, back in the 1990's, less than 5 miles from the border with Mexico, off on a dirt road where by zoning the land was agriculture and houses could be no closer than one every 1/2 mile.
